Welcome to the Department of Business Administration (DBA). We would like to introduce DBA as one of the pioneering departments of BAUST as well as a leading business school of the country since the department has highly qualified faculty members, updated course curriculum, industry linkage, multimedia classrooms, computer lab, library, WIFI facility and so forth to ensure the quality education. The department is committed to providing quality education for the students since its inception with a blend of well- experienced, qualified and energetic faculty members who are entirely and passionately devoted to teaching their students the best.

The mission of the Department is to develop truly qualified business graduates who will be the most successful professionals as well as business leaders having their in-depth knowledge, practical skills, positive attitudes, and other attributes so that they can contribute to build up a sustainable, value-driven nation. To ensure the high ethical standard of our graduates, DBA focuses on the discipline, knowledge and morality. Our graduates will definitely be value-producing, career oriented, well-disciplined, visionary, creative and innovative having their professionalism and positive mentality towards work that will bring benefits for their employers, for the country, for themselves as well as for the world in a greater sense. We believe that our graduates will be able to meet the expectations of the employers of home and abroad in a more meaningful way since the will be capable of adapting themselves with the ever-changing business environment.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program under this department has been designed to produce highly skilled and dynamic graduates who will be able not only to compete with the graduates of other institutes in finding suitable employment in the country, but also to participate in the global economic system. The time-benefitting and pragmatic curriculum of BBA program aimsat extracting the potentialities and flair from the young learners as well as making them worthy citizens of the soil so that they can meet the changing demands of the society and can face the challenges of the upcoming days.

We also believe that the department will lead the coming decades in higher education of business in Bangladesh by dint of its quality, innovation, the state-of-the-art technology, and student-centric as well as employment oriented education.
