About

Electrical and Electronic Engineering is the most preferred subject in all Public Universities including BUET, RUET, KUET, CUET in Bangladesh at present. Electrical and Electronic Engineering is a field of engineering that generally comprises of a number of subfields including electrical power engineering, electromagnetism, electronics, digital computers, telecommunications, electrical machinery and drive systems, control systems, RF engineering, signal processing, instrumentation, and microelectronics. Electrical and Electronics Engineers work in a very wide range of industries and the skills required are likewise variable. They may become members of professional societies like Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE), USA, Institute of Engineering & Technology (IET), UK, and Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB).

The syllabus of the Electrical and Electronic Engineering is so designed that it enables a student to carry on a job successfully which needs a good command over programming like job in Google or jobs require knowledge on Mechanical Engineering like jobs in Pharmaceuticals like Square, Renata and different banks as well.

At present, a large number of Govt. job opportunities (jobs in PDB, PGCB, EGCB, DESCO, WZPDCO, REB, BTCL, Teletalk) as well as attractive private jobs (jobs in GP, Banglalink, Robi, Ericson, Siemens, Samsung, Bangla CAT etc.) are becoming available for the students of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Undergraduate Program Offered by Dept. of EEE

Ours is one of the best Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department of Bangladesh. Here we offer Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electrical Engineering (B.Sc Engg. in EEE) at the undergraduate level. The syllabus is designed to give a clear knowledge on core courses of and Electrical Engineering. In the first four semesters, students will learn the basic of electrical engineering along with other related subjects and in the final four semesters they will have the opportunity to choose the specialized field from different sectors of Electrical and Electronic Engineering like Power System, Electronics and Communication. As the course contents of this degree is very much related with computer based simulation, precise computation and advanced communication network, students will get familiar with modern computer engineering and telecommunication system as well. With the help of experienced faculty members and most modern equipped laboratories, our department aim to make the students not only a skillful engineer but also a leader of future days.

Objectives:
