Md. Hasib Mahbub is a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at Bangladesh Army University of Science and Technology (BAUST), Saidpur. He joined BAUST in December 2022 and has been actively involved in teaching, research, and mentoring students. He completed his B.Sc. in EEE from the Islamic University of Technology (IUT) in 2021 and is currently pursuing an M.Sc. in EEE at IUT, specializing in renewable energy systems and smart grids.
Mr. Hasib’s research interests include Machine Learning (Medical diagnosis, Computer vision) Renewable Energy Systems, Internet of Things (IoT) & Robotics (Datasets to implement ML algorithms). His ongoing projects focus on Deep Learning assisted Anomaly Detection Support Systems (ADSS) of Solar Power Plant and developing energy-efficient solutions for emerging power challenges. He has published his research findings at IEEE international conferences, contributing to the academic and technical community with impactful solutions.
As an educator, Mr. Hasib emphasizes hands-on learning, guiding students in practical research and fostering critical problem-solving skills. He has presented his research at international journals as well as IEEE conferences, showcasing impactful contributions to renewable energy integration and data science. An active participant in extracurricular initiatives, Mr. Hasib has held leadership roles in Bangladesh Scouts and BNCC and continues to inspire innovation and excellence in engineering education.
