Welcome Message from the Department Head
Message from Head
The moment of writing this message for our website of Bangladesh Army University of Science and Technology (BAUST) is, indeed, a matter of great pleasure and satisfaction to me.
The Department of English offers Bachelor of Arts in English to instil among the students the essence of intellectual exercises that the creative writers have made over the centuries in the form of literature and thereby to prepare them as efficient professionals to work at various levels of jobs at both national and international levels.
Our aim as faculty is to ensure that, by the time you graduate, you have a solid theoretical and methodological grounding in your chosen course of study, ending with a substantial piece of individual research. We hope the graduates of this university in turn will contribute to the development of skilled manpower in a cyclical way ameliorating the condition of millions of the underprivileged and downtrodden people of our country.
I am delighted to see that the members of the society have responded enthusiastically at the department of English, BAUST and have sent their wards with confidence on our management and with high hope that the students will be properly and seriously taught maintaining discipline, gaining knowledge and leading towards a moral human being.
