Laboratories
Laboratory Facilities of the Department:
The department endeavours to provide its faculty members and students adequate laboratory and other facilities. Departmental undergraduate courses are laboratory intensive and these requirements will be catered by following laboratories:
- ICT Lab
- Programming and Algorithm Lab
- Digital and FPGA Lab
- Data, Microwave, Optical Communication Lab
- Database and Data Warehouse Lab
- Web Engineering Lab
- Microprocessor and Micro-controller Lab
- Cryptography and Network Lab
- Wireless, Mobile and Satellite Communication Lab
- Robotics and Interfacing Labs
- VLSI and Automation Lab
- Signal and Image Processing Lab
- Operating System Lab
- Machine Learning and AI Lab
Students in Level 1 and Level 2 have to undertake laboratory classes in Physics, English, Electronics and Mechanical Engineering too.
Note: The laboratories of ICT Department are also used by the students of other departments for sessional classes and research work of relevant subject/courses if necessary. Similarly, if necessary undergraduate students of this department can access to the facilities of other departments and centres during project, thesis and research works.
