Alumni Association
Our Mission:
To establish a dynamic and forward-looking alumni network for the Department of Civil Engineering at BAUST, Saidpur—one that fosters social, cultural, academic, and professional engagement among graduates. Our mission is to strengthen the bonds of unity and fellowship among alumni, while also supporting the continuous development of our department into a leading center of excellence in civil and infrastructure engineering. Through collaboration and contribution, we aim to play an active role in national development and in achieving the department’s vision. Our commitment is to remain connected with our alma mater and create meaningful opportunities for both current students and alumni.
Our Activities:
We aim to fulfill our mission through the following activities:
• Organizing seminars, technical workshops, and training sessions on current trends in civil engineering
• Coordinating educational field trips and industrial visits
• Hosting job fairs and recruitment events for fresh graduates
• Arranging social events such as reunions, departmental picnics, and annual dinners
• Supporting academic research and innovation projects
• Providing career counseling and mentoring programs
• Conducting quiz contests, technical competitions, and project showcases
• Facilitating cultural activities (in coordination with relevant clubs)
• Organizing blood donation drives and other community service programs
• Engaging in new initiatives proposed and approved by the executive committee
