Department of Civil Engineering of BAUST has completed the field work of Practical Surveying for the third time under the course CE 1204 for 13th and 14th batch.
Students have learned the uses of the surveying equipment and implemented it on ground while conducting chain survey, compass traversing, plane table survey, levelling & contouring, theolodolite survey & tacheometry, curve ranging, house setting and so on….
Finally they have also completed a project based on their learning and prepared a cadastral map as well!!
Hope to learn a lot more in future regarding the application of engineering knowledge using sophisticated lab equipments in our department.
