The Department of Civil Engineering, BAUST successfully organized an insightful seminar on “Advanced Transportation Technologies in Japan: A Vision for Bangladesh’s Future” today at Dr. Wazed Mia Seminar Hall.
The event was a remarkable success, with active participation from students who showed great enthusiasm and engagement throughout the session. The keynote speaker, Ahasanul Haque Hashib, shared fascinating insights and personal experiences from his journey to Japan. His reflections on Japan’s advanced transportation technologies and their potential application in Bangladesh truly inspired and motivated the students.
The seminar was coordinated by Sabiha Tasnim Rifa, Lecturer, Department of Civil Engineering, BAUST, whose dedication and efforts ensured the smooth execution of the event. We were also privileged to have Lt Col Md Shameem Reza, PhD (Retd), Treasurer, BAUST, with us. We sincerely thank him for making time to be part of this seminar and for his encouraging words. Additionally, Dr. Md. Mahmudul Hasan, Dean (In Charge), FCE, and Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, BAUST, chaired the seminar and provided insightful remarks, enriching the discussion further.
The seminar successfully provided a platform for students to learn, engage, and envision how advanced transportation technologies can shape the future of Bangladesh.
