Welcome Message from the Department Head

The Department of Industrial and Production Engineering is a versatile technical branch within the engineering sector. This department acts as a bridge between engineering and business management. The IPE department at this university aims to ensure that its graduates can handle all kinds of situations, whether in industrial management or in research on new products that are economical, environmentally safe, and usable under all conditions. To expand students’ knowledge with advanced production courses, the department is introducing courses such as Manufacturing Processes, Engineering Materials, Industrial Law and Safety Management, Product Design and Development, Modern Machining Processes, Operations Research, Ergonomics and Productivity Engineering, Material Handling and Maintenance Engineering, Production Planning and Control, Supply Chain Management, Quality Management, Computer-Integrated Manufacturing, and Industrial and Business Management. To strengthen students’ skills, the department regularly organizes various programs, including industrial visits, study tours, internships, seminars, conferences, and annual events.
