Bangladesh Army University of Science and Technology (BAUST), Saidpur is graced by a visit from the Chief of Army Staff, Bangladesh Army and the Chairman of BoT BAUST Saidpur. General S M Shafiuddin Ahmed, SBP, OSP, ndu, psc, PhD, the Chief of Army Staff, Bangladesh Army arrived at BAUST on 24 October 2022. Brigadier General Professor Dr. Engr. Md Lutfor Rahman (Retired), the Vice Chancellor of BAUST Saidpur received the Chief of Army Staff, Bangladesh Army at BAUST Saidpur Campus. The Chief of Army Staff, Bangladesh Army was accompanied by the Area Commander Rangpur area and GOC 66 Infantry Division, the Adjutant General of Bangladesh Army, the Director General of DGDP, the acting GOC of ARTDOC and the Military Secretary of Bangladesh Army. The Chief of Army Staff, Bangladesh Army was received with a flower bouquet by the students of BAUST Saidpur. After an introduction with the Controller of Examinations, Faculty Deans, Departmental Heads and Branch Heads, the Vice Chancellor accompanied the Chief of Army Staffalong with the five Generals of Bangladesh Army to the different laboratories and smart classroomof the University. The Chief of Army Staff, Bangladesh Army was briefed on the different laboratory equipment and research activities conducted at BAUST Saidpur. The Vice-Chancellor presented the Chief of Army Staff, Bangladesh Army with the different issues of BAUST Journal.General S M Shafiuddin Ahmed, SBP, OSP, ndu, psc, PhDtalked to the faculty members, the students, enquiring them of the different aspects of study and research activities of BAUST Saidpur. After a photo session with all the faculty members, the dignitaries visited the new campus of BAUST Saidpur. The Vice Chancellor briefed the Chief of Army Staff, Bangladesh Army about the present land and infrastructure states and the future Master Plan of BAUST Saidpur. General S M Shafiuddin Ahmed, SBP, OSP, ndu, psc, PhD, the Chief of Army Staff, Bangladesh Army signed the visitors’ book. Bangladesh Army University of Science and Technology, BAUST Saidpur is honored by the presence of the Chief of Army Staff, Bangladesh Army and the Chairman of BoT BAUST Saidpur, General S M Shafiuddin Ahmed, SBP, OSP, ndu, psc, PhD, and the dignitaries.
